PLEASE NOTE: The re-released DVD version of the game from 2010 is already patched. If you buy the single disc DVD version you do not need to patch the game.
It appears the Rise of Legends patch server has been shut down leaving a lot of people with a problem. The patches for ROL have been uploaded on some online file storage services. To check if your copy is fully patched, load up the game and check on the main menu to see what version number you have.
