I'm hoping someone here can help me out with a problem on AutoCAD LT 2008. Up until recently, I could send multiple print or plot jobs out, one after another, and they would sit in a queue and plot in the background. About two weeks ago, though, AutoCAD stopped allowing me to do this. It will only let me print/plot 1 file at a time. If I try to plot a second sheet I get the message 'Job already in progress.

I ran a repair on the software and when that didn't fix things, I uninstalled and reinstalled AutoCAD (including SP-1) but the situation has not changed. This is greatly decreasing my efficiency, turning a 5 minute task into a 15 minute task. Does anyone have any idea how to correct this? Under the ADVANCED tab of the printer/plotter's PROPERTIES, is the 'Spool print documents.'

Or the 'Print directly to the printer' option checked? If you Print directly to the printer/plotter it bypasses spooling to a temp location and fills the printers memory. Since that memory usually only accepts complete print information, you wouldn't be able to add any other print jobs to the printer memory. If it is similar to what we have here, IT has to change that setting. It may be that someone did that without your knowledge.
